What exactly does Chai & Champagne Studio do?
We're an event design and advisory studio. We create the visual identity of your celebration — invitations, signage, ceremony guides — curate the right vendors with detailed guidance, and develop creative experience ideas for your guests. Everything we deliver comes with our reasoning, so you understand the thinking behind every detail.
Are you full-service planners?
No — and that's intentional. We don't provide day-of coordination, physical setup, or on-site presence. We work with you before the event and deliver everything you need to bring your vision to life.
Who is Chai & Champagne best suited for?
Couples and families who care about aesthetics, cultural nuance, and thoughtful details. We work especially well with people who want guidance and perspective, not someone to take over.
Do you only work on weddings?
Weddings are our specialty, but we also work on milestone celebrations — landmark birthdays, anniversaries, and other meaningful events.
Do you work with clients outside of Vancouver?
Yes. We're based in Vancouver, BC, and work with couples and families across Canada, India, and internationally. Because our work happens before the day, everything is delivered remotely.
What if I don't know my event theme or vision yet?
That's exactly what the discovery call is for. Many couples come to us with a feeling rather than a finished vision. We bring references, questions, and direction so the theme can emerge from your story.
Process & deliverables
What’s a "design item"?
A design item is one finished designed piece — an invitation, a menu card, a welcome board, a ceremony guide. Multi-page pieces count as multiple items based on distinct designed pages.
What does the discovery call cover?
It's a free 30-minute call where we learn about your event, your vision, and your priorities. We don't pitch packages on the call — we listen. Within 48 hours, we'll send a personalized roadmap.
How long does a project take?
Chai runs about 3–4 weeks, Chai + Champagne 4–5 weeks, and Champagne Reserve 5–6 weeks. Timelines depend on project scope and are confirmed after the discovery call.
Can I customize my package?
Yes. Each package is a starting point. You can add individual design items, extra revision rounds, or specific deliverables as add-ons, and we'll tailor the scope to your celebration.
Pricing & payment
What are your starting prices?
Chai starts at $1,800 CAD, Chai + Champagne starts at $3,500 CAD, and Champagne Reserve starts at $5,500 CAD. Final pricing reflects the scope and complexity of your celebration.
What's the payment structure?
50% non-refundable deposit to begin work, with the remaining 50% due before final files are delivered.
