About
The studio behind
the celebration.
The studio
Started with a simple belief.
Every celebration deserves design thinking, not just decoration. We started this studio because we saw how much a single visual language could hold a four-day wedding together — and how rarely couples are given that kind of intentional approach.
The founders
Hi, we’re the two you’ll be working with.
We’re Sakina and Aayush, partners in life and in this studio. We’ve spent years on the guest side of big, layered celebrations, the kind where five events flow into one story, and we kept noticing the same thing: the details that moved people were never accidental. They were designed.
Chai & Champagne Studio grew out of our own wedding, four days and five events in Jalandhar, with family travelling from Vancouver, Dubai, and across India. Designing every piece of it ourselves, from the invitations to the welcome boards, showed us how much a single visual language can hold a celebration together, and how rarely couples are given that kind of intentional design.
Between us we’ve lived both Indian and Western celebrations, the rituals, the fusions, and the moments where two cultures meet. That perspective shapes how we design, with cultural nuance treated as the starting point, never an afterthought.
What drives us is the why behind every detail, beauty that’s considered, not copied. Sakina leads creative direction and design; Aayush builds the technical and web side. Together, we’re the two people you’ll be working with, start to finish.
Studio values
What we come back to, every time.
Cultural fluency.
We understand Indian, Western, and fusion celebrations because we’ve lived in both worlds, and we design with that understanding.
Intentional design.
Every detail serves a purpose. Nothing is generic, nothing is filler.
Honest guidance.
We curate with transparency, sharing red flags and reasoning, not just highlights.
Your celebration, your call.
We bring the expertise and the perspective. You keep the control.
